Tips when Buying Furniture - Background Information
It is always advisable to have a detailed specification of the furniture which you require. It needs to cover items such as the thickness of the metal or melamine covering to be used to the fire resistance standard of foam material.
When shipping products during the summer, it is advisable to make sure that the furniture is raised from the shipping container floor as moisture build-up can lead to water forming on the floor inside the container.
Only pay a minimal deposit amount of approximately 30% of the overall furniture order value. Only pay for the remainder after a quality control inspection has taken place, and your products have been passed for shipping.

A Finished Furniture Inspection is conducted at your supplier's factory when 80% of the order has been completed. A Finished Furniture Inspection is a visual check of specifications, quantities, dimensions, packing requirements and shipping marks. During this inspection any on-site testing such as moisture readings can be conducted or samples can be collected to be independently tested.
