A freight forwarder in the UK had a customer import product from a supplier in India. The Customer had received a bad delivery and wanted to ensure that their next shipment would be perfect.
The freight forwarder organised for the Customer to book a Finished Goods Inspection on the Goodada website. Within 36 hours, a Goodada Inspector visited their Supplier's Factory and inspected the Goods. The Inspector found defects in the Goods. The report was sent to the Customer, who then told the Supplier to fix the issues before he approved the goods to be shipped out from India.
Since this time, the Customer uses Goodada Inspections for every order. He receives products with no issues, and the Freight Forwarder makes money from every order.
A Freight Forwarder in the Netherlands had a Turkish Client who shipped product from a South African supplier into the Freight Forwarder's Warehouse in the Netherlands. The Client received complaints that there were issues with a batch of the goods being held at the warehouse. The Freight Forwarder advised the Client to book a Goodada Inbound Cargo Inspection on the Goodada website.
The Goodada Inspector visited the Freight Forwarders warehouse and inspected the delivery. The Goodada inspector issued a report to the Turkish Client. Because of this independent report, the Turkish Client was able to submit a claim to their South African Supplier for credit for the defective product. Additionally, the defective product was isolated at the Freight Forwarder's warehouse and disposed of.
The Freight Forwarder was able to help their Client resolve an issue, continue collecting warehouse fees, and earn money from this inspection.
A USA freight forwarder had a customer who was importing Electrical products from a supplier in Portugal. The freight forwarder constantly had delays with all the shipment bookings. Their Customer was getting very frustrated with the missed deadlines and poor communication from the Supplier in Portugal. They wanted to avoid flying to Portugal to meet their Supplier and inspect the products.
The Freight Forwarder advised their Customer to book a Goodada During Production Inspection on its website. Once this was done, Goodada sent an inspector out to the factory in Portugal to meet with the Production Manager and review the timelines of the orders. During the meeting, the Inspector asked why communications were so poor and why there were delays. The Supplier said he had many orders but was making the important orders first. But if the Inspector kept coming in to check the Customer's orders, he said that he could make the Customer's orders quicker. When the Client got the report and understood the issues, they booked an Inspector to visit the Supplier for every order as it was being made.
This helped them and the Freight forwarder plan the shipping schedule properly. Additionally, the Freight Forwarder makes a commission from this inspection service and has the thanks of a grateful customer for helping them solve a problem with their international Supplier and avoid many flights.
